So me and mom were watching the new Korra, then Tahno showed up, and my mom said
“That is the gayest man I have ever seen”
i liked this scene a lot, probably more than the kiss. i thought it was so mako to reveal his feelings by going ”KORRA YOU’RE SO ANNOYING
i also think you’re amazing cough“versus his brother, who literally just said “KORRA YOU’RE THE SEXIEST PERSON ALIVE” (EDIT: no, i don’t mean that he focused on her physical appearance, i meant it in the sense that he doles out compliments really frankly, kk)
i’m not saying that either confession was worth more, but MAKO you’re so cute in your own terrible way. he’s just so closed-off and he can’t just outright say “korra i think you’re really awesome” like his brother and sorry i just thought that was adorable (ughnn and he’s all conflicted and it’s so cheesy but IDGAF). it sort of parallels the first time he/they complimented her, though:
bolin: WOW THAT WAS INCREDIBLE YOU’RE A NATURAL
mako: not bad.one of the reasons i don’t ship borra hardcore is that bolin seems to idolize her a bit too much (LOL i’m such a hypocrite because all i do is fangirl over korra)
